These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to rebelrates.com and the services we offer on it, including our quote engines, agent directory, agent listings, blog and giving programs (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
What Rebel Rates is
Rebel Rates is a free comparison service. We do not sell insurance, and we are not an insurance company. Our quote engines help you compare estimated rates, and, only if you ask, we connect you with a licensed insurance professional who can answer questions and help you enroll.
Quotes are estimates
Rates shown on the Site are estimates based on the information you enter and on data from insurance companies and quote partners. Your final price, eligibility and coverage are decided by the insurance company and may change after it reviews your application. Plan availability, benefits and premiums vary by location and carrier. Nothing on the Site is a guarantee of coverage or an offer of insurance.
Not professional advice
Articles, guides and other content on the Site are for general information only. They are not legal, tax, financial or insurance advice for your situation. For Medicare, you can also get official information at Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE.
Agents and other professionals
Agents listed in our directory are independent professionals. They are responsible for their own licensing, advice and services. We do not employ, endorse or guarantee any agent, and any agreement you make with an agent is between you and them.
Agent listings and subscriptions
Agents who list with us agree to provide accurate information, keep their licenses in good standing and follow all laws that apply to contacting consumers. Paid listings are billed in advance on the plan you choose, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from your agent dashboard; cancellation stops future renewals. We may remove listings that break these Terms.
Donations
Donations made through our Agent Angels and giving programs are processed by Stripe. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us promptly.
Third-party sites
Some quote tools and links take you to other websites, such as insurance companies and quote partners. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Using the Site
Please use the Site lawfully. You agree not to:
- enter false information or someone else's information without permission;
- use our forms to send spam or unwanted messages;
- scrape, copy or resell our quotes, listings or content without our written permission;
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the Site.
Our content
The Site's design, text, graphics, logos and software belong to Rebel Rates or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use.
Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the Site will always be available, error-free or that quotes will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Rebel Rates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Site, quotes, partner sites or services provided by agents or insurance companies. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Using the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
